Hey Captain Obvious! Duh!
Now I love sports as much as the next guy. I love all kinds of sports, but facts are facts. I'm not going to get to all the stories you want to hear about. Well, that's where you come in. Did you hear about a story that you want me to talk about? Breaking news that is so mind blowing that you can't believe it? Did I miss something so obvious that you can't believe I haven't written about it yet? Well, leave me a comment under this post and give me the "Hey Captain Obvious" story that you want me to cover and I will for sure talk about it. Believe me, I'm nothing without you the reader so i'm here to cater to your requests. So, let me have it!
Much Luck,
Joe

Texans V Cowboys playing every year. If you can check this out tell me what you think

Mac, first off thanks for checking out the blog and becoming a follower. I do appreciate it. As for your take, I'm glad that you brought this up. Now, I do realize that the Cowboys have been around a long time and the Texans are kind of the new kids on the block, but the NFL should really consider dedicating a week or two to "rivals". To me, It only makes sense to have the Texans/Cowboys play. You can play your division opponents AND play an entire division and still have 4 games left which you could dedicate to a rivalry. I'm not even talking just Texans/Cowboys. There are a lot of great rivalries out there. Yes, I do understand that some of the better ones are within their own division (Cowboys/Redskins, Bears/Packers, Cowboys/Giants, etc.), but honestly who wouldn't watch the Texans/Cowboys rivalry game. I know the Cowboys are probably still miffed from getting owned on National TV by the expansion Houston Texans. Jerry's face probably had more cracks in it then "The Thing" from the fantastic four which would probably explain the face lift. Seriously, It seems that all the sports have caught up on the whole "rivalry" thing except the NFL. College football, baseball with interleague play and even soccer. SOCCER! C'mon guys. In a league where the damn Raiders have a rival, it just needs to happen. Mac, I do like your thought of putting the Texans and Cowboys on for Thanksgiving. Until the Lions can get back to being a good team again (and I believe their moving in the right direction) that they should let another good team come in, like the Texans. Personally, I think it's a win/win if the Texans and Cowboys play every year. Great Take Mac.
