After watching the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tournament, if you had the University of Northern Iowa, Saint Mary's and Cornell in the sweet 16 then chances are you already won your bracket. Congratulations! Seriously, there were some great games this past weekend! Believe it or not, I was very excitied when I saw Northern Iowa defeat #1seed Kansas 69-67. I have always been one to root for the underdog. The big schools always seem to get the best recruits, best facilities, big money, etc. It's not their fault that's just the way it is. I do enjoy watching a team that has no chance to be in the same league as someone as Kansas defeat them whether it be by 1 or 20. A win is a win. That, to me, is the beauty and perfection of the NCAA basketball tournament. The little guy has a chance. A equal chance as much as the big guy. It's proof that on any given day "david" can compete with "goliath" and sometimes even get by. Do your thing Cornell, Northern Iowa and Saint Mary's! Hey College Football, I hope your paying attention because you could "December Madness/Early January Madness". Ok, we can shorten it but you get the point. Are you like me and rooting for the underdog or are you rooting for the big boys to win? Lastly, how messed up does your bracket really look?
