Really Philadelphia?? Really?

Well, it would appear that Daddy Warbucks, I mean, Redskins owner Daniel Snyder may have finally picked up the big name player that actually HAS talent.  In the "what seemed like a good deal at the time" trade, the Eagles shipped off the franchise, a.k.a, QB Donovan McNabb to division rival Washington Redskins for a 2nd round pick in this years draft and a 3rd or 4th round pick in next years draft.  During the time that the Eagles were shopping McNabb, the word was the Raiders and Bills were big players in a potential deal.  Reportedly, if he was dealt to either of those teams he would not have reported to camp.  Who could blame him?  It's the Raiders!  Well, the damage is now done and as of now it looks like a big win for the Redskins.  McNabb, to me, hasn't shown any major signs on wearing down.  With the lack of a running game in Philly, McNabb has pretty much carried them.  He will have the presence of a running game with Clinton Portis and at least a named receivers like Santana Moss and Chris Cooley.  In my opinion, Washington is like a oasis in the desert.  It looks good and real, but when you get there it just fades to nothing.  Many "big name" players have gone there and just seemed to fade.  (What's up Albert Haynesworth?).  If you want to be real and a contender, do it on the field.  On paper is one thing, on the field is another.  I will say this though, Washington appears to be making a move.  First GM Bruce Allen and Coach Mike Shanahan.  Now, QB Donovan McNabb.  Lastly, Philidelphia what the hell is wrong with you?  It doesn't take much of a sports mind to know that you don't trade a franchise player like Donovan McNabb to another team much less your division rival.  My guess is it will probably only take that first game vs. Washington to realize what a mistake this is.  Oh, memo to Kevin Kolb.  Philly fans have a short fuse.  They booed Santa Claus for goodness sake!  Score early!  Score often!  How do you peeps see it?  Washington make the big splash or Philidelphia make the smart move?

Much Luck,

Joe
