The UConn lady Huskies defeatd Notre Dame last night 59-44 in a "close" first half, but then UConn decided to put down the irish in the 2nd half. I know, I know that's "normal" for UConn to beat up on opponents, however there are 2 big points here. One: Last night's win was the 71st consecutive win. Yeah, you heard me. CONSECUTIVE! That normally would enough to blow me away, HOWEVA (Kudos to Stephen A.) two: They broke the record of 70 consecutive wins by another dynasty. Yeah, you guessed it. The UConn Lady Huskies broke their own damn record! Kudos to Geno for getting his girls focused to not only win 70 in a row back in 2001 - 2003, but getting 71 wins in a row in 2008 - 2010. I know they say that Pat Summit is the greatest women's basketball coach, but at this rate Coach Geno is giving her a serious run for her money. What's your thought on the Lady Huskies?
