And Then There Were Two...

After Sunday's championship games, the Colts and the Vik............Saints are going to play in the Super Bowl. The Colts had to play catchup as, at one point, they were down 14-3 in the first half. Peyton Manning did what Peyton Manning normally does when he's down which is pick the defense apart and lead his team to another victory. The saint's, on the other hand, had a little more difficult time with the Vikings. Even after 5 turnovers, the Vikes were in position to win the game with about 17 seconds to go in the 4th quarter. In field goal range, the Vikings had a penalty for 12 men on the field and were pushed back 5 yards and out of field goal range. On 3rd down, they pulled a "why on earth do you call that play?!" when farve scambled and was picked off. I guess a simple run play to get 2-3 yards and win the game wasn't in the playbook. Into overtime, The Saints put together a good drive, with a few penalties, and ended it on a field goal. I think the more impressive thing is watching the camera of bourbon street during the game. That place was like the Dallas Cowboy's playoff wins over the last 10 years. Yeah that's right, empty! The second the game was over, the street made mardi gras look like a high school party on Friday night while the folks were gone. CRAZY! I can only imagine what will happen if the Saint's win the super bowl. I don't think Obama has the man power to stop New Orleans from looting and tearing itself apart! I will personally flag the city for excessive celebration. Then, of course, I will discuss it with my fellow ref's, pickup the flag and say it like Wayne Campbell sugguests: Party On!
Much Luck,
Joe
