Remind me never to play poker with Gilbert Arenas. The Washington Wizards problem child was in hot water with the DC police yesterday when he was hit with a felony gun possession charge due to a fight with teammate Javaris Crittenton about a poker game debt. Plain zero decided he was going to play a "joke" on Crittenton by flashing a unloaded and unlicensed pistol at him. Good one Gil! Oh wait, it gets better. Arenas says that the reason he kept 4 guns at "work" was because he wanted to keep the guns away from his kids at home. Positive props from wanting to keep the guns away from the kids because they shouldn't even have the oppurtunity to get ahold of a weapon at home, but I think you may want to find a better place guns then your workplace. I'm sure my boss would totally accept the fact that I brought/kept my glock to work because Joe Jr. has the chance to grab it and go nuts. Yeah, no! Deputy David Stern layed the hammer on Zero by suspending him indefinitely BEFORE he was charged with the felony. Hmmmm, I wonder what Stern will do now? There is some good news though, Zero has agreed to a plea and will do little or no jail time. It must be nice to get that since you were already arrested once before for a gun charge, but that is just a minor detail apparently. I think another important question is did the Bullets......I mean Wizards know Zero was keeping pistols in the arena? If so, they also should have to answer for allowing gil to keep them there. The majority of the stupidity is on Gil no doubt, but Washington your not far from blame either if you knew. How do you feel about this peeps?
Much Luck,
Joe
