Moving On Up..........

Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com reported today that QB Rex Grossman has been moved to the No. 2 QB behind Matt Schaub. Originally, Rex was brought in to add depth and perhaps compete for the #3 spot behind newly acquired QB Dan Orlovsky from the Detroit Lions. After having a hamstring injury 3 plays deep into the first preseason game vs. the Chiefs, Grossman's diagnosis was out up to 4 or 5 weeks and likely his Texans career was over way before it ever started. However, after the voodoo doctors worked on his hammy he was ready to play in the final preseason game vs. Tampa Bay. All he did was look like the 2nd coming of Frank Reich vs.
the Oilers making the secondary of the Bucs look foolish hitting Jacoby Jones & James Casey for touchdowns. It is kind of funny how this guy was run from the Chicago Bears after getting them to a super bowl. We're just looking for a guy to play 16 games healthy. No worries Sex Cannon, you'll be starting by week 4.

  1. If Orlovsky was gona take the 2nd job, I was gona move to Dallas. Hahaha, yeah right. Dallas sux! Cowboys suck! Romo Sux! Jerry Jone well.....he sux to! But getting back to the point, after the 80 something yard pass by Rex to Jones in Tampa, I had a funny feeling. Orlovsky, while he has a great arm, is still green and will be a good back up @ $3 million a year. Ouch!
