You Got Served!

Former Dallas Cowboy running back Emmit Smith pulled a "kindergarten cop" on his former team's head coach Wade Phillips in a recent interview by saying he lacked discipline. Speaking with Adam Schein and Rich Gannon on Sirius NFL, Smith said that Phillips must "instill discipline from Day 1". Smith also said that "they don't come in trying to make friends. Matter of fact, they created a bunch of enemies and then made the enemies get on their terms and then they moved forward." Ouch! Smith's verbal assault didn't stop there. Tony Romo was also hit with a bullet of criticism from Smith when it comes to Romo becoming more of a leader. "Ok, now your going to become a leader?" Smith said. "What happened when we got knocked out both times?" Haven't seen this much drama in Dallas since "Who Shot J.R.?" Question would be is Emmit right?

  1. Emmit is right! The Cowgirls need a leader. Romo is a flake and Wade is a push over. Who's leading this team? Jerry Jones? Well, maybe but deep pockets and bullies don't cut it in the NFL. Talent and more talent is needed. The Cowboys have talent but can they play as a team. Whos replace TO? Their best WR now is their TE. Go figure? Dallas 7-9 this year.

  2. I'm with you! Emmit is right. Wade should be your "coach". Not your "friend" You want friends? Get out of football and join a social club! It should also be a plus for your quarterback to toggle the on/off switch for leadership when he's asked to do it, not just have it on constantly. I'm sure he'll blame it on Jessica.
